My name is April Barrios and I love spending time with my friends, family, and boyfriend, and I especially love trying new things. I believe the best way to get to know yourself and the world around you is through new, non-ordinary experiences; not knowing what to expect yet ending up having the time of your life. Being active is definitelyyy something I think about and aim for every single day. I love the feeling I receive during and after one of those work outs where I know I pushed myself harder than usual. I just recently subscribed to Danny’s College Body Blog, and have already started incorporating his work out techniques into my own, such as sprints and more weights, and I’m anxious to start seeing new results. 🙂
1) What school do you go to & what year are you?
I currently attend St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX and don’t think I could have made a better decision. I love the city of Austin and have grown in so many ways since I’ve moved here.
2) What’s your favorite muscle on a guy?
I love a guy with big, muscular calves. Guys are either wearing jeans or shorts, and if they’re wearing jeans I’ll most likely focus on their gluteus. And if they’re wearing shorts, well, my eyes will immediately fall to the calves.
3) What is something you look for in a dating a guy (personality wise)?
Something I think a lot of people, including myself, look for in a partner is confidence, and yes, there is definitely a difference between confidence and arrogance. However, I love a guy who could care less what the world thinks of him, knows what he wants, and finds a way to do just that. Also, he has to be willing to try new things as well, be able to leave his comfort zone and live a little.
4) What is one sentence/line a guy could use to get you attention?
“Did you fart? Cause you just blew me away!” orrr “Are you tired? Cause you’ve been runnin through my mind all day.” Haha these are actually the only pick up lines I know, but to be honest, I don’t think one sentence could get me. It could get a laugh, but that’s about it. If a guy can just be himself, have an intelligent conversation, and still make me laugh, he’s definitely a keeper.
5) What is your biggest “turn off” in a guy?
Trying too hard. No one likes a person who tries for everyone’s attention, or tries to be something they’re not, it’s just annoying. Be yourself, not someone else.
